Over the course of his career, Mr. Michael has represented clients on a full range of criminal charges that range from shoplifting all the way to murder. Our office was built on the ideal of fierce advocacy and this has defined our success not simply in achieving the best results for our clients but also in solidifying our reputation as competent trial lawyers. To date, Mr. Michael has acted in all levels of Court in Ontario - Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal - and has conducted countless trials before judge and jury.

Regardless of the charge, Mr. Michael is a fierce advocate on behalf of all his clients and, to protect his client’s interests, he will leave no stone unturned and explore every avenue of attack to ensure the best possible outcome for his clients.

Mr. Michael graduated from Osgoode Hall, one of the Canada’s most established and top tier law schools, in 2006 and he became a member of the bar in 2007. Despite graduating in 2006, however, Mr. Michael has been working in the field of Criminal Law since 2002 both through Intensive Practical Programmes at Osgoode Hall Law School and under the supervision of experienced and distinguished members Criminal Defence bar.

Since beginning his academic career, Mr. Michael has demonstrated an enduring commitment to the practice of criminal law that has continued to present day. Daniel has exclusively practiced in the area of Criminal Defence since being called to the bar and his passion for Criminal law is best exemplified by his ongoing to commitment to honing his skills through continuing legal education and tackling novel legal issues.

Throughout his academic and professional career, Mr. Michael has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the community in the form of his ongoing advocacy and public legal education seminars. In 2005, Daniel was formally recognized by Osgoode Hall Law School with the Frank Zeman’s Award for his outstanding achievement and contribution to clients during the course of his work at the Parkdale Community Legal Services.
 

In addition, Mr. Michael has continued with this commitment to the community by serving on Board of Director's for various non-profit organizations and providing free public legal education seminars on issues relating to Criminal law in both the English and Spanish language.
